The conference will serve to disseminate information on innovative and best practices for helping deaf students attain English literacy, often with the use of technology. It will provide a forum for papers on both instructional practice and research. The targeted audience includes those who work with deaf students at the college level, as well as those working at the pre-college level in institutes for the deaf, as itinerant or resource room teachers, and as mainstream teachers who have deaf students in their classes.

If you have any questions, please contact Jane Nickerson at jane.nickerson@gallaudet.edu or (202) 651-5880.

We do hope that you will be able to join us at Fifth Meeting of the English Think Tank in Washington, DC!

Sincerely,

Jane Nickerson, Department of English at Gallaudet University
